I can't fault the site but I would have liked much more. We didn't have an awning and the rain was heavy. I imagined indoor areas to eat and hang out and that wasn't available. It's quite minimal with just one food van for two hours in the eve and a small shop. Access to the Lake is great but there's no views of it from the site and not much for teens and families otherwise.

Spectacular! This is our current favourite Caravan and Motorhome club site; a large sprawling site equipped with three facilities blocks, well appointed pitches (levelling blocks essential), all set in stunning ancient woodland. The site team are a friendly, chatty bunch, which we appreciated and have come to expect of club sites, which are inevitably run by fellow ‘vanners’ who share our passions. We enjoyed some truly magical woodland walks with our dogs here. There’s a handy little shop on site, and a food truck offering pizza and fish and chips on various nights. We tried both and can attest to their quality, especially the latter, served on Fridays, and cooked to perfection. My husband was a bit disappointed that the mushy peas weren’t of a mushy variety (our only criticism!) but we’d brought our own, so all was well. Coniston is only a short drive away, or a 30 minute walk, where one can explore the local shops, enjoy local food and ales in the various pubs, and take a walk around the lake. We’ll definitely be back here. We enjoyed a week of total relaxation and recharged our metaphorical batteries. Magical.

Came for a long weekend whilst the husband was swimming in the Lake. Fantastic site. Had a huge tree covered pitch which was so peaceful. Had our 2 dogs with us and had no problems. You can pick your own pitch which was great, so chose one off on its own little side road. Blue for no awnings and white for with. Short walk to the lake and just so leafy. Amenities are great, shower better than mine at home and none of that having to press the button every 30 seconds. Hot and plenty to chose from. You can get hot food and something different every day, Chinese, fish and chips, pizza etc, although we didn't use it as had an electric hook up so cooked our own. Can't think of a single negative for us. Thanks for a great stay.

What a lovely park and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, met some of the staff off site and they were lovely and very passionate about what they do. Nice walks locally and very close to Coniston lake. Nearest pub 20 mins walk, Coniston itself 30- 40 minutes Cannot give a five star rating as check in needed to be by 8pm, which normally I would appreciate, but travelling on a Bank Holiday, doesnt allow for the snarl ups and congestion. Sat on overflow until next morning, still charged top whack and no one gave us a time we could check in from the next morning

Just got back from a 2 night stay camping here. There are 10 spots for Electric hook up camping places here. One of the best toilet and shower facilities we have stayed in. Lovely quiet site, friendly helpful staff upon arrival. We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful woodland site. Lots of culdisacs. Staff very friendly and professional. 5 min walk straight from the site to Coniston Lake (if staying at the bottom of the site, I was on pitch 110). This is not your typical CC site, no uniform pitches which I really liked. Pizza and Fish n Chips on alternate days Tuesday to Saturday. Facilities were always clean.

I would definitely recommend this park. Facilities are great and the surroundings are beautiful. Great if you want to be near the lake too for water activities. Fantastic if you have an electric car as there is 2 charge points near the entrance that are very easy to use and not overpriced as you would expect from a club site (if washing machine and tumble dryer prices are to go by) We used the cassette washing machine though and it doesn’t empty it thoroughly (despite the fact we use the appropriate toilet paper) or put the required amount of chemical in after like it advertises so I wouldn’t waste your money trying it. Doesn’t take away from how great the site is though. The Wi-Fi is not available either as I was gutted to find (I was meant to be WFH at the caravan) but the 4g where we were worked well (Vodafone and EE)
